Westlands Water District: Government Website
Westlands Water District came to us with a very specific and non-negotiable need. Their website needed to be redesigned, and it had to meet or exceed stringent governmental accessibility requirements.
Bet and the team performed an outstanding job redesigning our website. They were extremely easy to work with, exceeding our expectations at every turn. When we had questions or minor issues, they were very attentive and provided great solutions. After completion, they continue to be available as a partner providing recommendations and support. I highly recommend Bet and the team.

Westlands Water District Accessible Website Features
- Their Notices and Agenda used to be exclusively PDFs that weren’t accessible and needed to be automated. We built their entire system to be mostly once they’ve created a Notice or Agenda that are now created in WordPress and not as a PDF. This additionally benefitted their SEO.
- PDF documentation that is now accessible for Notices when PDFs are required: RFPs, Bids, and Landowner Information. We retrofitted previously non-accessible items such as manually converting their non-legacy PDF Notices and Agendas to posts.
- We custom built a newsletter template and an automated system that notifies stakeholders with notices that are accessible.
- District Events Calendar that meets accessibility requirements. This included a custom Event’s Calendar Template and included a custom field with the ability to input the Agenda’s URL.
