Accessibility in WooCommerce
Accessibity in WooCommerce is a critical issue. Imagine not being about to place an order for pizza delivery, household items, or register for class. Imagine as an adult, having to ask someone else to help you shop because the items in the online stores were not accessible.
We are passionate that all websites should be accessible, and our CEO Bet Hannon spoke with Bob Dunn on his Do the Woo Podcast to talk about just that.
Accessibility is a Website Must Have
When asked by cohost Brad Williams of WebDev Studios about the future of accessibility in websites, Bet had this to say:
I do think that web accessibility will be in the 2020s, what mobile responsive was in the teens, right? It’s a small set of folks at first that are concerned about those things, but today, no self-respecting developer would build a site that’s not mobile responsive, and by the end of 2020s, it’ll be the same for accessibility.
